Cusco Traditional 5 days

Day 1: City Tour

When you arrive to Cusco, reception and transfer to the hotel. We will give you the information about the tours. In the morning you have free time. At 2:00 pm. We’ll pick you up from your hotel, with our guide we are going to visit the Cathedral there are magnificent colonial art and paintings, after we will visit some of the most impressive Inca stonework and the most important religious center at Koricancha (Temple of the Sun). Then we will visit the impressive Incan fortress of Sacsayhuaman and Archaeological sites including Qenqo, Pucapukara and the spring shrine of Tambomachay. We will end the tour at the main square of Cusco.

Day 2: Tour Sacred Valley of the Inkas

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am. We are going to visit the spectacular Sacred Valley. First we will see a fascinating Inka market at Pisaq which is a good place to buy gifts. Then we will visit the spectacular ruins of Pisaq. We will pass for different sites like Coya, Lamay, Calca, Urubamba, in this place we will have a delicious lunch. After lunch we will visit the fascinating ruins of Ollantaytambo Archaeological site which is a real sample of Inca Architecture. After that we will take the train to the Town of Aguas Calientes. Reception and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 3: Tour Machupicchu full day

In the morning after breakfast transfer to the bus station, there we will take the bus to the Lost City of the Incas, “Machu Picchu”, where we will enjoy a guided tour of the main buildings of the citadel as El Mirador, Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Plaza, etc. This visit will allow us to appreciate the high level of development of andean civilization through the Incas.

Pm. Return to Aguas Calientes by bus.

Pm. Take the train to Cusco.

Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: Tour Rainbow mountain.

This adventure starts really early in the morning, between  4:30 to 4:45am we will come pick you up from your respective hostel to then head out to the town of Pitumarca, south of the city of Cusco, place where we will make a stop to stuck up on necessary things to start our journey. For example: water or energizers, snacks, cereals, etc.

Subsequently to this short stop we will continue with our trip where we will be able to see some beautiful multicolor scenery and crops that blend in between the mysterious mountains, snow peaks, and Andean animals like the llama, alpaca, sheep and vicunas. We will then arrive to the colorful town of Ocefina (Chillca), place where we will start our hike to Rainbow Mountain, here we will enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast with the town people. After our breakfast we will start with a 1 hour 40 minutes hike up the mountain until we get to the town of Machuraccay where we will then keep going up until we reach the Vinicunca hill, place of access control for this mystical place. Continuing with our hike we wil pass through a path that will slowly be changing the whole panorama of the intense colors of the mountains and the small cold water streams that feed and give life to this valley. While on our hike we will observe how the colors of our surroundings will start to change with the climate, we will reach an altitude of 5033 meters above sea level, which is the very top of this mysterious rainbow mountain (Vinicunca). Here we will have enough time to take how many pictures and videos you would like, etc. We will also be able to enjoy our snacks here while we take in how beautiful the scenery around is. After our time here is up we will start our hike back to the bus station where we will have lunch. And finally we will return to Cusco at approximately 5:00 pm, where our hike to Rainbow Mountain Perú will come to an end.

Day 5: Departure day

After breakfast transfer to the airport.
